Big Sand Wash Feeder Pipeline

Big Sand Wash Feeder Pipeline was a part of the Central Utah Water Project. It consisted of a 48″ HDPE pipeline laid from the Lake Fork River bottom to Big Sand Wash. This project included various environmental concerns which were resolved as it was laid through the river bottom, private farm areas and grazing properties.

Big Sand Wash Transmission Pipeline

Big Sand Wash Transmission Pipeline was constructed from Big Sand Wash to Roosevelt City. It is also part of the Central Utah Water Project consisting of a 32″ solid welded steel, concrete lined and concrete coated pipeline. The pipeline is 20 miles long, traveling through farm land, pasture and city utilities and included many ground water challenges.

Sand Hollow 54″ Feeder Line

Sand Hollow Pipeline was completed for the Washington County WATER Conservancy District . The pipe was a gasketed, steel, 54″ pipe which conveyed water from the hydro-electric plant near Hurricane to Sand Hollow Reservoir. The line was laid through difficult terrain including lava (basalt) and solid sand stone.

Sand Hollow Pump House

Sand Hollow Pump House and piping was built to increase pressure to fill Sand Hollow Reservoir. It consisted of a 5 stage pump system with 54″ knife valve.

Big Water Subdivision

Big Water Subdivision was completed for SITLA (State Institution Trust Land Administration). It consisted of constructing lines for water, phone and power as well as a new road to service 23 potential lots.

Skyline Mine Portal Closures consisted of closing one side portal, reclaiming the side hill and the road entering the area and disassembling the mine’s main portal. The work was done for Skyline Mine located in Schofield, Utah.

Fountain Green Fish Hatchery

Fountain Green Fish Hatchery was bid through the DFCM, with Valley Builders as the Construction Manager. We installed all piping for the buildings, raceways, degas structures, filter house and residential housing. Piping included a wide variety of pipe, ranging from 1″ to 24″ pipe.

Santa Clara 1 Million Gallon Tank

Santa Clara 1 Million Gallon Tank and 20″ Pipeline was completed for Santa Clara City with Sunrise Engineering as designers and Dale Cox Construction as the subcontractors. It consisted of a 1 million gallon concrete tank and a 12″ thru 20″ pipeline to town. Challenges for this project included crossing the Santa Clara River and extensive blasting for the tank and pipeline.

The blasting was done by 3 Rivers Company.

Whiterocks Fish Hatchery was bid through the DFCM with Valley Builders as Construction Manager. It consisted of a massive spring development and all onsite piping for buildings and raceways.

Blue Bell Connector Road was bid through the Utah Department of Transportation with Burdick Paving as the Prime Contractor and Horrocks Engineering as the Engineers. This job consisted of a new drain line, storm drain, irrigation mainline as well as new curb, gutter and sidewalks.
